| Posted: 26 Apr 2011 07:24 AM PDT The full details of the 2012 Mazda3 have been revealed by the manufacturer. This updated model is supposed to be debuted in Canada. Well, we could identify only little changes from the earlier variant. The vehicle has been equipped with new front fascia, a revised grille, round fog lights and restyled wheels. It also sports the headlights, a metallic blue engine cover and the obligatory badging, which are unique to the Skyactiv engine powered vehicles. Moreover, it features a stiffer body structure. The interior of the auto has been incorporated with a revised instrument cluster, updated trim as well as new upholstery. New Skyactiv-G petrol that develops 155 hp (116 kW / 157 PS) and 148 lb-ft (200 Nm) of torque will be incorporated for the vehicle when it comes to the US. When it is connected to a six-speed manual transmission, the engine enables the vehicle to return 27 mpg city / 39 mpg highway. The vehicle is also equipped with a retuned suspension and a new Electro-Hydraulic Power Assist Steering (EHPAS) system. |
| BMW M5 Concept First Interior Photos Out Posted: 26 Apr 2011 07:17 AM PDT Hope you remember the M5 Concept revealed by BMW during the beginning of this month. The first official photos and a couple of videos were displayed by the company following a leak. Now, what we have are the leaked first photographs of the interior of the M5 Concept. The unveiling of the auto was held at a closed media event in Munich for invited media persons only. At that time we noticed that the windows are blacked out and the interior is not yet finished. What we see in this newly surfaced image is that the tachometer redlines at 7200 rpm plus an Alcantara strip on the side of the seat cushion. Another notable thing is that the M badge at the base of the steering wheel is no where to be seen. The newly-leaked images were captured at the Auto Shanghai Show, at the first public debut of the vehicle. We hope to see the final production version on the announced date of June 21. (via WCF) |
