2012 Audi A6 Avant Wraps Go Off (Promo Video)

The 2012 Audi A6 Avant has got officially unveiled. The major highlights of the car make us go for it even without thinking for a second. The vehicle comes with many brilliant features. The design has incorporated a bold front fascia along with a sloping roofline and an elegant rear end. It has got an aluminum-intensive chassis and a lightweight body.

The interior has been adorned with premium materials, a wrap-around dashboard and driver-oriented controls. It also has got head-up display, heated or ventilated front seats, MMI navigation plus and Bang & Olufsen audio system.

The vehicle is equipped with remote boot opening system which could be activated by waving the foot under the rear bumper.

Five engine options are offered at launch. The petrol choices include 2.8 FSI V6 with 150 kW (204 PS) and 280 Nm (207 lb-ft) of torque and a 3.0 TFSI V6 with 220 kW (300 PS) and 440 Nm (325 lb-ft) of torque.

The diesel power sources include level 2.0 TDI producing 130 kW (177 PS) and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque, 3.0 TDI V6 with 150 kW (204 PS) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) or 180 kW (245 PS) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque.

Nissan 370Z GT Special Edition Announced

Nissan has come up with a new Special Edition model – the Nissan 370Z GT. This is meant to be released in the United Kingdom and has been made as part of the celebrations to commemorate the model's 40th anniversary in Britain.

The distinguishable feature in the model is that it has got exterior body stripes as well as anthracite-finished 19-inch alloy wheels. The other major features include a rear view camera, GPS navigation and a retuned suspension with modified dampers.

Nissan GT is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 engine that produces 328 PS (241 kW / 324 hp) and 363 Nm (268 lb-ft) of torque. The vehicle accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and hit a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).

The special edition GT is available in three colors such as Pearl White, Kuro Black and Black Rose. The vehicle hits the dealerships on the 1st of next month. The vehicle will come with starting price tag of £35,000.

Peugeot Offers Free Trip to Space!

Peugeot is offering something big and new.  In a bid to stand out in the crowd of car manufacturers who sponsor  contests and offers dazzling prizes. The company is also planning a kind of contest, but what makes it enthralling is that it will award the winner of the competition with a chance to fly to outer space. Doesn't that sound unique?

Participating in the contest appears to be pretty simple. All you have to do is to simply log-on to Spot3008.com and find the 20 Peugeots that are hidden in the image. Contestants will receive 100 entries into the contest, after the completion of this first step.

The contest ends on the 30th of September. The lucky person who wins the contest would be awarded with a sub-orbital spaceflight from Space Adventures. The company also offers a £30,000 ($48,500 / €34,000) cash prize if in case of circumstances that restricts the trip.

The car manufacturer says that the space trip needs to be completed by April 1st, 2016 (that happens to be the Fool's Day).
