This is also an example of what this community is capable of doing, when we have a clear goal and proper directions on how to reach that goal. In just 3 days, we could raise $5000.
I have one message from Pappu that they have some updates on this. I don't know any details so far. Hopefully we will get some account information soon! If not, we will see how to create a pool account for this and then submit to IV. One thing is for sure, I don't think we can not afford loosing this golden opportunity. I don't want to loose this to bureaucracy.

One small step for IV, one giant leap for IV members.

I have been pained by many comments on the "Bulletin Update" threads earlier about IV misleading its members on the timing of the bulletin etc. How many of you go around telling that you have $100,000 in your bank account?
All those folks who doubted IV and claimed IV mislead them on the timing, should apologize to the CORE team publicly.

what makes you state with confidance that the preadjudicated cases will be evaluated. can you please explain the basis of your statement. both my case and my wife's case has been pre-adjudicated and i am waiting for my green card. so do you think we should expect our green card some time next month without any additional followup. i would hate to see my case being sidetracked when some one else with pd and rd much beyond mine is serviced. any thoughts and insights. not trying to offend anyone. just trying to get some information.

Based on USCIS SOP (though a bit outdated) - see below - preadjudicated cases are piled in PD sequence when they wait for visa. Therefore, as your PD is quite high (Sep 04), you should expect a good news in Sept. Best...

How many applications are pending for EB2 - I in 2004?? Just trying to estimate if OCT bulletin will move forward, if any. Unfortunately, i can't file AOS for my wife until the dates are current. I'm dying to use EAD since many employers are not sponsoring H1B these days. I've lost 3 good job opportunities because of this reason!!

Somebody in this forum was pointing out how the majority here seem to favor illegal immigrants. Let me point out that Apraio was elected democratically in 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008. Apparently voters in his county have a different point of view about illegal immigrants and have no problems voting him again repeatedly.

You will be in trouble anytime in future if she proves that you have employed her illegally in the past.

3. Powerful knowledge in technology to setup a secret camera to capture what she does the whole day
4. Collect all evidences and planning to penalize her

People have given me reds for asking the dad to go to the cops and reminding this dad his duties.
I think these people who have given me reds only know how to produce many babies but do not know that it comes with a responsibility. Shame on you and to all those who live a life of fear and teach the same on this forum.
Tell me something, if you have an illegal gardener/cleaning guy/moving helper/carpenter/plumber/handyman/male babysitter etc in your house and you have employed him for his servicesand he rapes your wife. Will you not go to the cops? Or will you sit tight at home and just post on the forum saying that you are an H1B and you fear that your H1 and greencard application will be revoked. If you still feel that not going to the cops is a better option, then I do not think your wife deserves a Man like you and certainly not a impotent person like you.
I find posts on this thread very repulsive and cannot hold back these strong words.

In other words, if there had been a bill only to address EB GC reforms, there was a great chance YOU would be able to file for your I-485 even if your PD was not current!

2) The EB GC reforms proposed and passed as an amendment in mid-2006 are long overdue!
3) IV has gathered a lot of admiration and attention after the flower campaign/ SJ Rally-> leading to the July VB reversal, and of course the DC rally!
Even if 2500 of them pay $50 a month, IV would have a steady flow of $125000 a month for lobbying efforts.
Just imagine what IV could accomplish in the next few months, if only people realized how important it is for them to sign up for monthly contributions!

Many came on L1 and got GC Quickly... Many Port EB3 to EB2 and got Quickly... Many got Quickly due to error on USCIS part... Many find them-self in EB2 due to Work exp etc some say only Masters should qualify for EB2... and obviously get GC Quickly... Some Got 140 Premium and got GC Quickly... I got my passport renewed via mail service from your consulate.
In my new passport, I noticed that "Given name"contains both my first name and middle name, while "Surname" contains only my last name.
In my old passport, "Surname" contained both my Last and Middle name while Given name contained only my first name.
Is this a problem? If yes, what should I do to get this corrected?
My current I-94 has given name and surname per OLD passport. I plan to got for h1b visa stamping soon. (revalidation)

As many are aware, there was a huge rush to buy and sell pre-approved labors during July-August 2007, when all the priority dates were suddenly made current. Tens of thousands of labors were sold by fraudulent consulting companies to many questionable GC seekers, who hadn’t even started the process till then.
It is those substituted labors which are clogging the pipelines now. Just think, last month EB3-I stood at November 2001. Now it is completely unavailable. It can’t possibly be because so many pending labors with such old priority dates suddenly got cleared this month, and beneficiary of these labors filed 140+485 together. I seriously doubt that a candidate whose labor is pending since such a long time is even keeping that GC process alive. In all likelihood he/she must have moved on in life.
There is only one explanation. These labors were already pre-approved. It is the attached I-140 on these labors that are getting approved rapidly. And the subsequent I-485 petitions on these applications are depleting the visa numbers.
The reason of this post is not to start an argument about the ethics of labor substitution. It is just a FYI post to explain the seemingly inexplicable. The chickens are coming home to roost.
