Paint & Bodywork on 1991 Acura Integra

Maaco Fremont's Car of the Day is a tidy 1991 Acura Integra 4 door sedan. It was involved in a minor fender bender and the paint was faded & peeling. Maaco fixed the dent and painted the entire car to match the original factory paint.

1930's Car Crash

There is a myth that old cars were better & tougher than modern cars. This car crashed into a fairly small tree. See the full story at one of our favorite car sites, Jalopnik.com.

1971 Chevy El Camino Bodywork & Paint Job

Maaco Fremont's Car of the Day is a great 1971 Chevrolet El Camino. The owner had the car for sale when it got hit on the fender during a test drive. He didn't want to invest a lot of money but he needed to repair the classic to sell it for its full value. He bought a fender and fender liner himself then he came to Maaco. Our price to install the parts and paint the entire car fit his budget. It's a great car if you are interested in buying one.

Ferrari FXX Crash at Laguna Seca

We didn't see this crash while we were at the track this month. It is supposed to be the first recorded crash of a Ferrari FXX (the $1.8 million street version of the Ferrari Enzo racing car.) According to our friends at WreckedExotics.com, it happened during a special "Ferrari Racing Days" event at Mazda Raceway, Laguna Seca on May 22, 2011. The Ferrari went off the track at Turn 8 "The Corkscrew" and crashed into the tire wall.

1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Color Change

Maaco-Fremont's car of the day is a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The paint was old & faded and the plastic body mouldings were weatherbeaten. The owner decided that spending a little to change the color and fix some dents was a lot cheaper than buying a new Jeep. The images don't do the SUV justice. The color she chose looks spectacular: DuPont C939 "Bright Silver Sparkle Effect."

Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Stolen & Crashed

Wrecked Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport
How is it that a vehicle who's production can be counted on fingers and toes seems to appear in crash photos just about every month? We at Maaco-Fremont think that the same cars must be quickly repaired and crashed again to maintain this kind of frequency. Thankfully owners capable of plunking down 2 million dollars or so for one of these Earth-bound missiles are usually well insured.

This particular Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport, according to our buddies at WreckedExotics.com, was stolen in Switzerland along with a Ferrari 599 and a BMW 750iL. They crossed into Germany where they were chased by police and ultimately caught but not until after the Bugatti was crashed into a barrier.

Scott Sanchez Spins at Las Vegas Blackjack 121 Race

#24 Scott Sanchez Chevrolet Spins in Las Vegas

The Maaco-Fremont sponsored Chevrolet Impala SS of Scott Sanchez tangled with Brian Herzog in turns 3 & 4 of the Blackjack 121 Race at the Bullring in Las Vegas May 14, 2011. Skilled driving and a bit of luck allowed Sanchez to finish the race but the spin would put him out of contention for the podium.

1992 TOYOTA PASEO BODY WORK & COMPLETE PAINT

Maaco Fremont's car of the day is this 1992 Toyota Paseo. The customer came to Maaco to get the rest of the body work completed. He had already replaced the fender and front bumper but the quarter panel was something he could not repair on his own. He informed us that this was a commuter car and he had a budget that we needed to work with. We told the customer that we would give him the best service at the best price. When the customer returned he did not recognize his own car. So before you decide to sell or junk your car because of some rust, dents or dings come on down to Maaco Fremont and let us give you a free written estimate.
